DreamHost suits US-focused blogs and business sites that want daily backups and quick server response without a long contract. Anyone who needs cPanel or phone support should choose another host. The shared plan renews at $10.99 a month after the first year, and email is only a trial.

Prices read on dreamhost.com on 2026-10-14, USD, excl. tax. The shared page now redirects to a test version (/hosting-5/) that only offers monthly and yearly terms; 24 and 48-month prices appear on the WordPress page only. Signup links carry codes such as WH-BF2025, applied automatically, so intro rates may change when the promotion ends. Older reviews cite a 97-day guarantee; the current terms and the WordPress page say 30 days. Data center cities come from third-party reviews, DreamHost names none. Terms read on 2026-10-14 from the plan pricing data embedded in dreamhost.com/hosting-5/ (promo and base price per term, USD), cross-checked against the visible Monthly and Yearly cards. On monthly billing the intro price lasts only the first 3 months (first month for Managed VPS Business), recorded as introMonths; renewMonthly is the ongoing rate shown for that term. The 24, 36 and 48-month terms are not shown on the shared page and come from the embedded data only. Intro prices rely on the WH-BF2025 promotion.
