Our verdict

A good fit for business and WordPress sites where support quality and managed tools matter more than price. Skip it if you want the lowest cost beyond year one. The renewal price is six times the intro price on the entry plan, which is the main drawback.

Exact city list for data centers is not on the plan page. Free domain, free SSL, migration and support channels confirmed on the 2026 world page. Prices as shown on the world site, excl. VAT, prepaid 12 months. Terms read in the public order wizard (world.siteground.com/shared/step3, no account, nothing bought) on 2026-10-14: 1, 12 and 24 months sold; the 1-month term has no discount. Recheck 2026-10-19: 12-month intro and renewal prices and the 30-day money-back confirmed on the world plans page. The 1-month and 24-month term prices only appear in the order wizard after a domain is submitted, which this run did not do, so those values are kept from 2026-10-14 and are not reverified. Recheck 2026-10-26 in a browser: 12-month intro and renewal prices, the 'Save up to 83%' offer and the 30-day money-back unchanged on the world plans page. SiteGround's own rates page (kb/current-rates-shared-hosting-plans, updated 2026-10-12) lists the regular price per prepaid period: 1 month $24.99/$34.99/$49.99, 12 months $17.99/$29.99/$44.99, 24 months $14.99/$24.99/$39.99, so the 24-month terms now renew at the 24-month regular rate instead of the 12-month one. The 24-month intro prices were not re-read (order wizard needs a domain) and are kept from 2026-10-14. The rates page also lists a 3-month GoGeek period, not added because the order wizard did not offer it on 2026-10-14.
